Its 5-minute, no-prep daily activities use inclusive instructional design to effectively engage all children, ensuring the most vulnerable students receive consistent, high-quality instruction.
SoundTown builds these essential foundational skills in young learners (particularly TK, Pre-K and K):

- Phonemic Awareness: Developing the ability to identify and produce individual sounds in words.
- Alphabet knowledge: Learning letter-sound relationships and early decoding skills.
- Vocabulary: Building a rich vocabulary through targeted instruction and visual support.
and delivered through:
- 5-minute research-backed lessons: Fit seamlessly into your daily routine like circle time or dismissal with no prep.
- Playful instruction and movement: Engage young learners with fun town characters that teach phonemes and their letter sounds
- Integrated mnemonics and articulation: To aid in memory and recall.

This grant is for a school license for SoundTown.

Enter our 2025-26 grant program to receive one fully-funded school SoundTown license till June 30, 2026.

Who should apply?
Whether you're a teacher, specialist, or school leader, we encourage you to apply on behalf of your team and school.
- Classroom Teachers
- Reading Coaches
- Learning Support (Specialists, Special Ed, Multilingual)
- Principals, Directors, and other Administrators
Team Requirements
- Minimum of three participating educators
How do I apply?
Let us know if you’re interested by filling out the form below.
- Talk to your supervisor/administrator. Their approval is necessary to be awarded a grant.
- The SoundTown team will review your application and then schedule a call with you and your administrator.
- Our team will email or call selected grantees.
Recipient requirements
- Must work with children ages 3-6 years old.
- A 20-minute call or survey during the school year to share feedback.
- A written narrative report due June 1, 2026, highlighting the experience and impact of SoundTown.
- Grant recipients may be announced on SoundTown marketing channels.
